The Restaurant

Antonio Altamura, chef at the Restaurant du Grand Hôtel Nord-Pinus, first discovered Arles in 2022 during a culinary residency at the Drum Café (The Tower), located in the Parc des Ateliers at LUMA Arles.

Inspired by the city’s light and the richness of the surrounding terroirs, he has returned regularly ever since, notably in 2024 to create four-hands menus in collaboration with La Chassagnette.

Having trained in the kitchens of Victor Arguinzoniz, Iñaki Aizpitarte, Giovanni Passerini, and at Marzapane in Rome, he has now chosen to settle at the Nord-Pinus, where he blends his Italian roots with the flavors of the Camargue and Provence.

Practical information
Lunch: on Saturdays and Sundays, between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Dinner: from Thursday to Monday, between 7:00 and 9:30 p.m.
